A Note From Our Owner, Tim Shellhammer

"My name is Tim Shellhammer. I have over 39 years of experience in residential construction. Up until May 15th, 2023, I had been employed by The Farlow Group Inc, a high-end custom residential general contractor, for 28 years. I started with The Farlow Group as a journeyman carpenter and progressed to project manager. Fifteen years ago, I became the director of field operations and secretary of the S corporation. I managed the company in its entirety for six years. The Farlow Group was dissolved (the owner retired) and I started my own company last year. I hold a current North Carolina general contractor's license and am the qualifier for my company, The Shellhammer Group LLC.

My association with The Farlow Group has given me the pleasure of forming enduring relationships with our customers, many architects, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, The New Hanover County Building Safety Department, the homeowners office staff at the Figure Eight and Landfall communities, exclusive/private gated golf and beachfront communities, and so many more.
